are we staying up or going down. I fear the latter, however. I have not seen any of the performances first hand this term.I have for a good few seasons now been unable to get to Oakwell due to the fact I work 5 out of 6 Saturdays and Live 250 miles away. Player is a second hand view of the game as is a newspaper report, and the FL league show at best gives 20 seconds. I rely on my good friend JLWBL to get the feeling of what is happening the other two I trust are Jay and Farnham. Simply because I have met both and attended matches with both thus I know their levelled outlooks. I hope we survive , but is it a bridge too far this time. I am beginning to think so. I also think we will not be the "Billy Big ******" in league One either next season , that's if we end up there. We need a decent manager and one who can get us ready for next season should the unthinkable happen. Danny Wilson ? I honestly do not know... but we do need a long term solution this time, even if it means going down and re building for a few seasons.
I thought we looked like a relegation team today. Perhaps the club can pull something out of the bag, as it were, but it'll be a bit of a shock were they to do so.
I'm afraid that barring a miracle we are going down and we'll finish bottom unless we get some kind of reaction from that bag of ***** we call a squad.
i am now convinced we will finish bottom at the end of the season, we're gonna get turned over big time next week i fear too. That game today was a preview of what next season as to offer in league 1 I'm afraid. Hope I'm wrong though.
I will apologise for posing that question too. I am renowned for being the miserable git on here, I apologise for that too. But this time I just do not see anything but League One next term... even if we do get a new and dynamic manager , I can only see him getting us prepared for life in the wildrness. I hope to God I am very wide of the mark and that the Miracle that happened last season again happens this term too.
Re: I will apologise for posing that question too. I can't see anything other than relegation now - it would take a real miracle to get to 50 points now. perhaps we'll get really lucky and find that 45 is all it takes to stay up this year, but that it still 30 points away, and I don't even see us reaching that, the way things are at the moment. I t really depends on whether the board find the right man, but worse case scenario is that we are gone before Easter. As JWLBL said, it looked all through like a relegation team today.
The good news is No one was ever relegated in December. There is more than half a season to go. We all know what just a couple of results can do The bad news is if we persist as we are, we're going down. However, I still believe we are better than we are showing. The answer is, we, the fans, don't have to decide now. They the management, and players do need to do something sharpish. It doesn't have to be over yet. If we overachieved last season, we are certainly not doing ourselves justice this year.
Re: The good news is unless theres some major changes there isn't a chance of staying up.We need a new management team and a fcukin defence if we are going to get even a sniff of staying up.
