    Am I the only one who still feels optimistic about the up coming season, I honestly believe that we will have a decent squad in place come kick off time, how many times have we lost our best players but we move on, ok it might be blind optimism but let's just bide our time and see what next week brings before worrying too much.

    Nope your not alone, foolish maybe but i am optimistic, maybe not short term but long term that the penny has finally dropped. Am not expecting a promotion this season but am not expecting a relegation battle either. For me its a pivotal season for the academy to prove its worth. Bring it on as far as im concerened

    No, I'm still optimistic as well old mate. I believe all like minded fans should meet up. One of those old red telephone boxes would make for a perfect venue!:D

    I,m still looking forward to this season,i enjoyed the Halifax game last week, young Bree looks quality.
    We know we have had all these players go over the last few weeks and the amount of grief the club have been getting on here has been crazy, ask yourself a question, How many of the players that have gone actually got you off your seats with excitement over the last season or so ? we needed a clear out, and it might be a struggle next season, can only imagine the stuff on this board if we don,t win a few at the start of the season, but now is the time to back the club, great support last week at Halifax let,s get behind the team , welcome any new faces that turn up and just enjoy hopefully a winning team for a change, and lets leave all the work that goes on behind closed doors at oakwell to the people that are employed by the club . COYR

    Still cautiously optimistic that we can have an ok season. Finishing about 10th and blooding some young lads and getting a team together to challenge for the play offs the following season. But we need to act quickly and recruit well if we want to avoid another relegation struggle.
