If we stick with Wilson like majority seem to want then how long do we give him

If we go down this season do we give him another season in league 2

So I ask the question if we are 3 points of the drop zone in March do we still stick by him

Surely any Barnsley fan pre season wouldn't have thought we would be in this position and so close to relegation places

My own view is that he will last to the end of the season irrespective of what occurs, but relegation would be absolutely disastrous and his position would be untenable.

If we survive then next season must improve. A poor start would put him under pressure and he would be gone before Christmas.

    I may be wrong

3 points in front of the relegation zone in March suggests a relegation battle.

At the moment, it's the middle of January, and despite me feeling Wilson has ran his cause, we're not in a relegation battle YET.

We need another manager who's gonna give us that extra impetus, that's my opinion but if we were to give Wilson until the end of the season, something needs to change drastically or we are going to be struggling seriously at the end of the season.

As a minimum he should get all this season and at least half of next season. This rebuild isn't a quick job and it would be a shame if we stop his work before he's had a chance to see the ground work start to show the results I think we'll see if we show patience.

The fact that we are having this conversation is f***ing disgraceful!
Fair enough, i wasn't expecting us to walk the league, not even expecting a play off place, but i was expecting us to pick up more wins than losses for a change whilst building a good side to push us on next season.
That's the problem for me, something needs to change, for the good of our club. League 2 would be disastrous.

I think it's fair to say, me and you are on totally opposites of the spectrum which is great because that's football and that's opinions.....but surely half a season next campaign is too far? I take it your not on about a League 2 campaign because like you, I think we'll stay up but anything close to a bottom four finish surely warrants a change?

Get a grip ffs. Did Brizzle walk back up, what about moneybags MK Franchise, or Blunts. What about Preston, shithouses should walk that league.
Have a look at what Swindon have done, young hungry players given time to develop.

I'm very confident that we will stay up but I think I would stick with him either way. I'm not sure PC would agree with me though, if the worst did happen.

There's only Preston and Bristol City you can compare to us. MK Dons and Swindon have been about this division and League 2 for years.

Preston were doing **** under two different managers, Westley and Brown and sacked them both. Bristol were doing **** under O'Driscoll and sacked him too. It's all about having the right manager and Wilson is not it

Not asking us to get promoted Just not 3 points from the relegation zone . Don't think that is too much to ask

You have seen how tight this league is? We will probably lose next week too. Then could go on a run, you just never know.
