What is the difference if any between an I Pod and an Mp3 player, i,ve just started cycling ( not at this moment otherwise i woulld,nt be typing this unless i,d got a laptop or summat) and just want something i put some tunes on and listen to whilst peddling towards a heart attack ! (dunno)
no difference at all if thats all you are after, can get 2gb mp3 players for around a tenner these days, you are paying for the name with a ipod, just for show offs
There in basicly no difference between an ipod and mp3 player ipod just have extras on them such as videoplayback and games but if you just want to play music Id go for a mp3 player
I'm not too sure, but they both play and support MP3 music files, (tunes to us)
iPod is rhe registered name of the Apple format, whereas others have their own brand names of MP3 players. I think to play on an iPod you might have to usethe iTunes system, which I'm not keen on, confuses me and I don't really understand, so I stick with justnormal mp3 file, which I keep in a massive directory on my PC and download what I want, as i want it.
Neither format will prevent a heart attack though

can an mp3 file be played on an ipod and a creative then ?? is the file just the same and c n it be played on both systems ???
it,s just annoying and worrying when your doctor loose some you fat b@st@rd mind you he is a Bolton supporter, cheers anyway think i,ll pay Asda a visit then give Limewire a bit of a pasting
RE: can an mp3 file be played on an ipod and a creative then ?? Yes. The iPod is just a glorified MP3 player.
cheers ! on another note...... i need a plug to conenct my creative mp3 player to the ipod connection on my new motor!! any ideas ???
But.. once a file is on the iPod it is stored in a different format you cannot play on anything else, I think
I have an iPod and a Creative Muvo2. The creative is a spare now - but it's a great unit. Flog u it if you want mate? http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/pl/11-...hits=462:creative+muvo;;4317;&q=creative+muvo This is very similar, but it's all silver, no black, and rather than 4Gb mine is 5Gb. Tons of storage. I paid about £140 for it, but i'll flog it for £50. Its in fantastic condition too.
An IPod is just an over-priced MP3 player. If you want a humungous one (mine's 30Gb) get a Creative Jukebox, the sound quality is better than the IPod and the earphones are far better. If you just want a memory-based one, they are getting bigger in terms of memory and smaller in terms of price all the time. Only buy an IPod if you are seriously wealthy or seriously image concious.
just paid£12 at asda it will hold 125 tracks thats all i need but if ever i decide to do the Tour de France then i,ll buy yours off you mate..... cheers for the offer though
