Serious Teccy Help Required * desperate plea *

Has anyone anyway of tracing where a FB message came from regards devise/location etc. I'm been stitched up big time and need some help?!?

Some fooker is FB messaging my ex making me look like a cheating ****!!!!! I've just seen the messages..... I'm livid to think her n her kids n family think that of me

if you have a name from the message try doing a facebook search for them. once had mine hacked and did this, told cops the info and they took it from there.

he was messaging an old employer who i had left in good standing. Cops actually sorted it and charged him too.

There may be some convoluted way of getting an IP address, but only the ISP who assigned it would be able to tie it down to a customer and they obviously wouldn't release that information.

 

Just to check I understand this right, they logged onto your account and sent the message as you? If so I might know a way.

 

No someone has created an account. Sent multiple messages and now the account has disappeared!

I've seen the messages. Some ****s got it in for me and I need to find out who!

 

So cowardly.

Unless the 'message location' option was turned on, I think it's unlikely you can trace them.

Even if that facility is on, it only tells you the town/city.

Facebook is the devil.
