To me, yes the tactics are questionable, we're short of a few first choice players but above all they are way short on confidence, and a little bit of luck. I'd be focussing on ways to build up players esteem & looking to the more experienced players to take more responsibility on the pitch. I'd be telling Moore to be more voiciferous; I'd be telling Anderson that it is he & not JCR who should be getting things moving from the back to the front & I would be telling JCR & Disco to actively look for penalties by either looking to get past playersin the box or putting early balls in. In fact I'd be instructing them to go down if they are so much as breathed on. Free kicks & corners should be whipped in at speed, and heaven forbid if oddjob is playing he needs to warn the ref he is being pulled about by the defender long before the inevitable pull that is waved away happens. That aside I'd be looking at videos of how the wingers ripped Donny & Wednesday to shreds at Oakwell, and ask for more of the same. In short we need to stop feeling sorry for ourselve & do something about it. Clearly we lack quality, but there are ways of "making your own luck". We need to be a bit more canny. Come on you Reds!
trouble is the players know 1 more defeat and they are shot of the lovely person hope they stay professional for 90 more mins
Maybe time for another smoke-screen akin to the Ipswich match at Portman Road. Youngest striker in history makes his debut and Davey avoids some difficult headlines. I wonder what gem he'll pull out this time? Maybe he'll start a one man pitch invasion and try and recreate the twins half time antics.
