    Why cant we just give him a game and see what he's like..........you never know!

    What happened with Flinders?? We played him and he was an unknown quantity and we got £1m out of him

    If we are not gona play why dont we just release him then?? Whats the point in keeping him if he aint gona get a look in?

    He's from Llanelli, very near Davey's family and Davey knew him from his appearances for Wales Schools, or something like (U17s?).

    Cheers, thought so. If I remember right he was shocking in his first home friendly, pretty much diving for the ball after it had gone out for a goal kick

    If I was Letheran I would be asking for a transfer

    the lad has represented Wales at some level and does not seem that bad a keeper... he must be feeling really low with all this stuff going on about him. He deserves better.

    Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Obviously I haven't seen him play, so can't comment on whether he's actually any good, but it's a bit difficult to put himself in the shop window at the minute! Can't think of many of our non-playing reserve keepers who went on the forge a decent career for themselves after being released.

    I am only basing my opinion on Letheran on 2 pre season friendlies , but how he got another contract is beyond me.</p>

    He looked uncertain , and was awful at fielding backpasses as he couldnt kick off the floor.</p>

    Sounds a bit like our women's keeper at Uni. Also, was always well funny when she got smacked in her sizeable tits with the ball as well, due to her reactions being far too slow to stop anything.

    No, he was signed to the club during Ritchie's time in charge

    but by Davey, who WAS, remember, at the club at the time.

    That's why I can't understand why Letheren can't seem to win Davey's favour. If he was an unwanted remnant of Ritchie's era then you could understand it, but Davey actually brought him to the club.

    Mannone as got to be up their what about the Spaniard who Hendrie signed Piri? also didnt he sign a Brazilian Fumanca?
