Been poor under during both Hill & Robins reigns... You could add penalties to that to.
Can't remember seeing a decent free kick since Brian Howard left... I feel apart from our jigsaw strikers we are suffering from lack of goals from corners and free kicks.

Question is are strikers our biggest problem or is it lack of service? We don't threaten from either free kicks or corners... They have been woeful

Our defenders have always good for several goals a season from set plays. Recent times nil.

Midfield also lacking goals. Both From free kicks or strikes from the edge of box. I wonder if this is coached out of them under Keith. To much tippy tippy stuff trying to walk the ball in rather than shoot on sight. Tonge looks a different player at Leeds played far to deep here.

Also penalties we don't seem to have many awarded these days. Are we to honest, should we go down more easily or is the a conspiracy by refs?

Not against KH but I strongly feel we need to be more direct, make better decisions and work on set plays.

Come on Keithy sort it out. And cheer up! Your doing ok. But school report would say lacks concentration at times must try harder. When we are good we are very good. When we are bad we are abysmal. Rarely in between. No consistency, and when we lose Keith shuns responsibility. Sometimes just accept you ballsed up, learn from it and move on.

It's no coincidence that we were great at set pieces in 1996/97, and 1999/00 - our most successful seasons at this level.
    Currently, they're awful.
Only one I remember was Davies against Ipswich last year, and before that Trippier got a couple.

In recent times Foster used to bag 4-5 goals a season from corners... And likes of McCann, Howard, werling, trippier, hammill, Leon and drinkwater all had a decent free kick and chipped in with the goals... Where is that player now?

As an earlier poster put you can count how many seasons in the last 20 years that we have been any good from set pieces. There is always anticipation and excitement from the crowd when we get a corner but I sit there expecting nothing to come of it. I think it is partly down to service and we aren't the tallest of teams. When the ball goes in to the box other than Foster you don't fancy anyone to win a header.

Agree, when the ball isn't hit too hard and sails out for a throw it, only Foster is a threat yet he is persistently judged to have fouled when he hasnt

    Delivery is the main problem.
Far too often the ball is floated into the 6 yard box making it a simple catch for the goalkeeper
When I was a kid you were taught to to pull it back towards the penalty spot for players coming in but our wingers, full backs seem incapable of this
