Just noticed I can claim a free freeview box and 2 months free subscription to Setanta as I'm a Talktalk Broadband customer. Only is it really 2 months free? The Freeview box is provided courtesy of International Sports Management. The FREEVIEW™ word is a trademark of DTV services ltd & is used under licence ©DTV services ltd 2002. 18 month contract applies. Payment of £9.99 for month 3 is taken in month 2 on the anniversary of your subscription. Cancellation fee applicable. Other Terms and Conditions apply.
So your paying for month 3, 1 month into your subscription. That isquite anadvance payment! Your not just paying forthe monthahead ie atthe beginning of the month for the rest of the month, butat the beginning of the previous month! That's ok if when you cancel (at the end of your contract) the servicecontinues for the whole of the advance period that you've paid for, but 18 months later who's going to remember that arrangement.

You could always be an existing subscriber and still paying £15 a month when they are offering £9.99 to new subscribers. Think I might phone up to cancel and see if they'll then offer me the new rate
RE: You could always be an existing subscriber I'm having problems cancelling Sky at the moment. I've phoned them twice (first on the 18th June) and wrote to them, but I still have the service (£43.50 worth) and keep getting new bills!
setanta is free to all virgin customers............the package is normally £15 a month, we had a letter on return from our hols yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!
XL Package yes. I've got all the Sports Channels, including Setanta, for £13 per month. Not bad at all. Also get the free Football League Highlights via Virgin Broadband.
