allegedly when he was being interviewed and PR offered £30k per week his agent unbelieving ,said "£30k ???" and PR said OK then £35k !!
Wish my gaffer was like that !! Makes you wonder what he was expecting the contract to be , doesn't it ?

urban myth Ridsdale, Johnson and Johnsons agent have all said that story is untrue. Ridsdale actually was asked about it in his first big interview after becoming chairman of BFC and denied it.
Never let the truth Get in the way of a good story !! The Seth Johnson who was at Crewe would've been a great signing , but I think he's a pale shadow of his former self now .
If we were to sign anyone from Leeds I wouldn't mind it being Matthew Spring as , at best , he is now only regarded a squad player .

Taking into account That two of their big summer signings ( Harding and Lewis ) will , probably , be first choice , I wouldn't mind us pushing the boat out and signing him . I agree with you , Spring was very impressive when playing for Luton and he'd be an excellent addition to our squad .
