settle an argument for me

when a player of the same team touches the ball in the area for a goal kick what is the ref ment to do?

make them take the goal kick again
or
in-direct free kick to other team?

 

In-direct free kick me thinks

 

Make em take it again as its not in play until out of the area methinks

Think it all depends on which part of the arguement Scott was on
