    So, basically,

The Derby fans know as much as their Barnsley counterparts with regards to this situation, somewhere between nowt & bugger all!:D

I like another of their threads on that forum, which asks if they are the worst club when it comes to getting a good deal from player sales.....

The sell on was probably based on profit they made from the deal. Therefore because they sold him for around what they paid for him we probably won't see any money. If we do it will be very little by footie terms like 50k or so at a push.

    There does appear,

From the outside looking in, to be some financial problems on the horizon at Derby.

I know my opinion doesn't count for much

But I don't think we're going to be in a relegation battle this season.

    I'm an eternal optimist

Which is why my views matter so little. However, I honestly believe we'll see steady progress on the field this season. Nothing too spectacular, you understand, but enough to avoid a relegation battle.

Why do we need clarification? It's irrelevant. It's not like we're the ones that get to spend it.

I'm a glass half full guy too, but I think we seem very few and far between, not just on here but life in general. I'd like to see steady progress because I believe we are a small fish in this division compared to most. That's not to say we cannot do very well though because we all know what happened in 96. Not that I expect promotion, on the contrary, but we have to be open to the idea of something out the ordinary happening. It's not impossible.

I said it'd be nice, mate. Not that we 'need' it.
