was a poor performance -I dont blame the players I blame the TACTICS - and team selection-didnt see anyone taking notes in dugout -How many times did Collins give the ball to the c/halfs instead of pushing up and hoofing- their defence had all the time in the world to organise- how many times was there a midfielder coming back into our half to pick up the ball from them -even though they were tracked. They played 1 striker and we fell for it . 1st goal took all the wind out of our sales. their manager has pi ss ed all over us now in his last 6 meetings against us and we havn't learned a thing-enough said. Our Strikers? crowded out (lightweight)and easily pushed off ball, tip tappy passing in their half and no running down the line from them etc-not closing down fast enough -don't think the players themselves know where they should be etc. I blame the coach- the only thing I saw, that gives me hope was Devaney in dugout -I would love to hear what he thought. The head coach should be taking advice from him and our other string of coaches learning our young ones. Morale in squad rock bottom. Supporters rock bottom On the bright side-average age -24.not enough experience at this level . There are some v.g. individual players in the squad but no proper teamwork exists i.m.h.o- w.t.f -are they doing on the training ground. didnt see anyone taking notes
There are some good individuals but there are also some poor ones as well and ones with a poor attitude. Iseka for one who was being told to put himself about more by Jordan Williams long before he bounced off their player for the third goal.
I think that Styles had a good game. I know it’s heresy to not slag them all off all the time but in the context of the sht show going on around him you can still see he’s good.
