First 25 minutes we looked okay, abit sloppy at times. Second half we didn't even come out of the blocks. We were woeful all second half, it was just an onslaught. The midfield were nowhere to be seen, Luke Berry looks like a lost kid, Jennings was a waste of shirt, again. Brown was run ragged. Lita and Treacy are well off the pace. The defence looked very suspect. It was as bad as anything we saw last season. Some will say that was a good point, it was a Lucky point and Yeovil will wonder how they didn't get all 3 points. For me we.need at least 3 more players if we are to mount a challenge on the top 10. A target man, a right sided player and another defender.
Well pleased, we play **** away from home and we get a point. Not bad for a bunch of young uns. You reds
Fully agree. I have travelled over 5 hours, spent over 350 quid and I am supportive. Poor performance but I believe. Early days for a young team. I clapped them off rather than call them lovely person*s, tw*ts etc that some travelled a long way to vent. Fact is a great point, undefeated away and we haven't hit full form and consistency yet.
Am I posting ******** rednut? Last time I looked this is a public forum, I am posting my opinion on what I saw. Did you go? It's a disappointing result because of the manner in which we threw 3 points away. We were 1-0 up at half time looking good value for the 3 points against a yeovil side who didn't look too dangerous. Had we applied the same effort in the second half then we would have won. But we came out with no bottle and unsurprisingly chucked it away. I didn't clap them off because they didn't deserve it. But to put a positive spin on it we are unbeaten away as icer points out.
You went I didn't,t fair play to you ,but you have to realise that you can,t have everything your own way all the time it,s only one game and it,s a new young side who are looking for consistency which will come!
Consistency only comes when you start getting the basics right, we didn't do the basics in the second half, and that's all we needed to do to see the game out.
Offspring or his mate Huddersfield Red never wanted King Danny so his outburst his hardly suprising. In fact they want Chris Powell in so I think we can safely disregard their views for good. Top marks for going today though. Hth
Reevy mate, I haven't even mentioned Wilson today have I? Anyway, yes I admit he wasnt my choice at the time, and I wouldn't have kept him on this season had it been my choice. But it's not my choice and I am fully behind him and hope he does well and proves me wrong.
Fair play to yer Offspring. You have more resolve than I ever will have in making the trip today. Safe journey home m8
The second half was very poor. We didn't win a thing in midfield and basically withstood constant pressure. In the end we did well to come away with a point and it at least shows we have some resilience when not at our best. Worth the trip to see Hourihane's goal. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
That's why football is called a game of 2 halves. We bossed first half were good value for the lead. They got an almighty bollocking at half time and came out like a house on fire and we never got up to speed to cope with them. Was a very good away point IMO.
Certainly agree with the end of your post. I was there and Treacy going off caused us problems. We need to be more aware of other teams in midfield. No one was picking up runners and balls thru our midfield all match. Brilliant goal from Hourihane but he doesn't seem to put a foot in in the third of gaol near our keeper ...
