    Agreed, He played in a time when Mavericks Ruled...Bowles,Marsh,Hudson Currie,WorthingtonETC....and the King of them all Bestie....great days to watch football, not enough TV footage of them all....Best wishes Stan!

    Sadly the mavericks didn't rule...Bowles, Marsh, Hudson, Currie, Worthington only mustered a handful of England caps...National disgrace.

    Extremely sad news. He was a wonderfully gifted, skilful, talented individual who entertained the crowds. As opposed to the fit, dull, energetic, grey, athletic automatons 'gracing' today's game.

    I agree, But to the Fans they did!....You are right a Disgrace...I'd add Hoddle to that list as well, and Le Tissier.
