Sorry Mr Shearer. Totally disagree. Lampard is a shadow of Steven Gerrard for me - but when they play together Gerrard is the better holding man of the two, so we lose out because Gerrard ends up playing too deep. You're left with Lampard not pressing on in the aggressive manner that Gerrard would - and there is no way anybody can convince me that Lampard is as much as a threat from the edge of the area asGerrard is. That is, of course, when Frank Lampard get into adecent position. Lampard needs dropping hard. It's Carrick in as the holding man, until Hargreaves is back doing the business. There is no place for Lampard in thatmidfield at all.

Thought that Beckham played really well tonight and really proved me wrong. Well done that man.
