Comments on their forum such as There just another team challenging for playoffs Wednesday are our only rivals. The rivalary is all one way on their part. why are they obsessed with stating that they dont care about us. I dont know any other Barnsley fan who thinks were big rivals with Sheff United, Personally (maybe cos im from West yorkshire) but I class leeds as a bigger game and a team id much rather us beat. I dont see Sheff united as a big Rival, just a game I like to see us win because i think their fans are a complete set of bellends, far worse than wednesday.
Don't you know how MASSIVE they are? Everybody wants to beat them in the same way everyone wants to beat Man Utd, cos they are ****ing huuuuuge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Until the near-murder of Hume, I could stomach the Pigs. I enjoyed beating them, but Leeds, Wednesday, Birmingham and Cardiff all brought out more emotion in me. Now I'm desperate for us to beat them. Not because they're anything as a club - they haven't won anything in a billion years, and their crowds are nothing special for a team from a huge city. Wigan Athletic, Tranmere Rovers and Bradford City have reached finals of proper competitions more recently than they have. As far as achievements go, the likes of Portsmouth, Fulham and Blackburn leave them standing. I'm desperate for us to beat them because they're immoral, shellsuit-wearing, Manor Top-dwelling, rape-apologising, elbow-sharpening scruff bags who sing about the atrocious Ched Evans and the despicable Chris Morgan. Every time we beat them it's a victory for normality over vileness. Come on, Barnsley. Smash these ******* up.
Apparently we have no class. That's hard to take from people who think a rapist is a victim. Vile club. Followed by vile people.
I don't care who they are, I just want us to beat any team who's fans are a bunch of gobby half-wits!
Class? Fecking hell, were they at their Danny Wilson protest? It looked like a combat 18 crossed with a Benefit street gathering.
Class? Threatening to rape Jessica Ennis, because Jessica Ennis pointed out that rape isn't very nice.
Of course it's all one way on our part. Unless they beat us tomorrow in which case they will be falling over each other to jeer and gloat/snort.
That would be an amazing ironic chant from us "there's only one Jessica Ennis" might be a bit too intelligent sarcasm for them though.
Wonder how many times they'll sing 'there's only one chissy morgan'? I don't really care about either sheffield side, I just want my own team to win regardless of who it's against. It is piss easy to wind their fans up mind! Thickest bunch of cretins I've ever come across. I always remember sitting in the Valad stand when we relegated them, I got kicked out after jumping up when Haynes scored the second and as I was being escorted out I remember being spat at by the most scruffy *******s you would ever see. The best comment thst got shouted to me on the way out was '**** off back to west yorkshire' ....
I really liked both those players, too. Fleming was the left-back when I first started going to Oakwell. I thought he was great. Feckin' Sheff Utd. Scrubbers.
the only team im bothered about beating is wednesday its same as leeds they think we hate them, a mate of mine is a leeds fan and when we started singing what do you think of wednesday day sh1it what do you think of **** wednesday he said why do you sing wednesday not leeds i just said because we dont give a **** about leeds
To be fair with Fleming it was something and nothing. The Sheff U fan's also clapped him off if I remember. How times change eh?
It's funny, I've had a quick look at their forum a few times over the last few days and each time the top thread has been some c*ck measuring discussion about how "big" their club is. Why do these people even follow a football team.
Ian Hume Before the Ian Hume business they were just another club to me, the Wendys and dirty Leeds were always the main rivals and still are. Since then, I've hated them with a passion, aided and abetted by "Brian the Blade" on radio deedar. Total scumbags.
Fleming was definitely a left back, wore the number 3 shirt and had a sweet left foot but could never score. When he got injured we ended up playing Darren Sheridan at left wing back until we eventually signed Neil Thompson . To be fair to you he did play the odd game at right back to fill in but by this time Nicky eaden had made the spot his own. I can tell you've knocked abart with our old fella and jimbo cos I have to educate them too, it must have been the ale in the rising Sun that effected em
