The joy of betting my friend! I'd keep your money in you're pocket for a week or two and see how the league starts to shape up, Notts County don't look a bad side.

Away from home draw maybe? Urgh hardest decision all week started from a free 10£ sky bet so to have 60£ now is good aiming to cash out at 400 so I can get a laptop

Not that you should take my advise but United have changed a hell of a lot of their squad with a few starting 11 players from last season leaving and being replaced by unproven players, whereas County have fetched in youth with a few proven players too. A draw sounds likely on paper but I'd be tempted not to put all you're 60 quid on it and play out a 20 on an away win, then at least if you lose your not out of pocket or so to speak.

Nope I bloody wish but it's a challenge and I'm enjoying it. It's an aim not a guaranteed outcome think is not loosing any money if I loose it's over account closed. If I manage it fantastic

Having lost at the £100+, £200+ & £300+ stages of these sort of bets my best advice would be to take your time, have a proper look at the game you intend to bet on, the 1st match of the season is not exactly ideal, how about having a look through different leagues that have already started & checking team form? Remember backing 2 teams at around 1/2 returns better odds than 1 team at evens. Good luck!

I also won £300 a few times last season, just to let you know I don't always lose! ;-)

    Regarding Chelsea v Milan...

Chelsea's season starts in a week, they near full fitness now and will give their complete first team a crack at the whip as this will be their last fe before the season starts, or close enough.

Milan have only just started pre season training and fielded a very weak team against man city, so i think that is the best bet out of them all in all fairness mate.

1st match of the season back every team to draw. Whatever the odds back them to win £5, so if TEAM A is 5/2 your stake is £2. If the team draws you cash out, if they don't you back them to draw their next game to win £5 + the stake you lost the first time, in the case of TEAM A you would back them to win £7, keep going till they all draw. 92 teams X £5 = £460

You will need to keep running totals, not miss any games and if a team keeps winning or losing, balls of steel.

I assure you there are more than 4 games tomorrow, what betting app do you use? Or do you just use the bookies?

Over the last few years, I've tried to find out a number of systems to gamble on football accumulators. None of them seemed to work unless I had a good chunk of luck so I just stick to them on weekends as a bit of fun before the Barnsley game. I love looking at odds etc but feel the bookies are winning long term.

I'd avoid this one. It's the first match of the season with a team that's had big changes and notts county are quite fancied this year. Bit too unpredictable for a big bet imo

Oh and regarding the Sheffield United result, I can see a 1-1 draw. Notts County have recruited well over the last month or so and United's home record last year was awful with 1-1 draws. David Weir will have to get that out of the system of his players but pre season isn't a long enough time to do it.

If I was a betting man, I'd fancy Jamie Murphy first goal.
