    From Blackburn Rovers and they expect to bring in 2 more players before the window shuts. If he is worth 7 figures then we should get a few bob for Haynes.

    Exactly. Good transfer fees only happen to other clubs. We seem to be unable to stop being mugged in the transfer market.

    Jordan Slew is a 19 year old with potential, apart from Hirst i cant remember too many others.

    Head and shoulders above any player at oakwell of a similar age. Already got a few games and goals under his belt at championship level.
    He could go far indeed.

    and selling david hirst saved the club....we werent really in a position to argue over the fee which them tw@ts down the road knew perfectly well...... £200k or the club went bust...

    We received £1.6 million for Taggart if my memory serves me right, but had to split it 50/50 with Man. City.

    And thats another thing.........how come the Blunts are turning out all these players

    ...........For example..........£££ 10 MILLION for 2 young full backs
    And now they are talking about £££££££ Millions for McQuire.........and didn't this kid used to play at the WELL ?

    It seems that us and Wendy just cannot produce the finished item
    Wendy fans in particular must be seething to see whats happening at the otherside of the city

    FFS!!!.........we have produced only Butters in all this time........and how things stand if someone came in for him for £200K the Barnsley board would be saying that they had got a good deal.

    Why is it that the Barnsley board under value our own players?

    what a load of rubbish again from yn.

    rose, clark, digby, stones all in u18. rnl butterfield potter in first team.

    i saw barnsley res beat there res last year. our youngsters a lot better on the ball.

    our u18 above them in u18 league.
    well done to there lot on cup run but first time they came up against a top team they got beat. barnsley beat spurs and got beat late on by a team with 2 u21s in there.c
