Most of the fans on here realise its less than a week into the transfer window

Meanwhile you and supertyke moan at every single opportunity you miserable Barstewards.

Also I'd choose Hammill over Little or Gray anyday

Fact is we can't afford to have the likes of Gray as back up. Davey has obviously targetted Hammill for the wide slot, and I agree with him, back up needs to be on 1k a week.

That doesn't change the fact we can't afford if we get Hammill. Morgan can play wide I think, we have JCR and Devaney, and El Haimour. Then Hume and Bogdanovic can both cover out wide. So no panic, you hope that your main players don't get injured. Then there are loans, find another Hammill maybe. We need a striker and CB more importantly.

Give the likes of Michael Coulson a break. He's 20 years old, he's had two bad injuries.

Give the lad the benefit until he's fully fit and has had a decent run in the team before you dismiss him out of hand as useless!

FFS whats Gray ever done, & 32yo glend little is no spring chicken.. our trialists are pretty decent

Personally I reckon Julian Gray and Dean Morgan are pretty similar...... both were highly rated youngsters who haven't lived up to their potential yet. Gray has been premiership reserve and but has failed to break into first team. Morgan started out life as a striker and more recently has been played on the left wing. Both lively player with lots of pace. IMO Morgan could prove to be a decent aquisition.

Same could be said for Ramsey. Young fullback from Man City. In recent yeras they have produced some top youngsters Ched Evans, Dan Sturridge, Micah Richards, Stephen Ireland etc etc....... Now they have money their will be fewer opportunities for the academy lads. Perhaps he could prove to be the one that got away. Only 19y/o and was a regular in their reserve squad last year..... perhaps another bargin buy!

Finally we have a 32 year old keeper, decent player in his time. He is coming to end of his career and may be happy to sit on the bench, also pass on his experience to Steele! another decent aquisition IMO!!!!

Meanwhile Sheff Utd have a Glen Little a 32y/o right winger who has been their and done it, but has seen little first team action over the past few seasons..... is this due to injuries or is he simply past it. No thanks, got enough players in that position and no willing to gamble big wages on him.

You think Dean Morgan is better than Julian Gray? Good God Almighty

Next thing you'll be saying Sir Bobby is better than Gary Neville

Thinking within the restraints rather than some fantasy football that some fans seem to think happens. Do the maths. We can't afford quality cover in every position. Or maybe PC should just write another cheque? Even better, we could start borrowing money that we can't afford to pay back.

    What if anyone gets injured?

    It's easy to say that.

What if Ronaldo and Kaka both break their legs. That's £135m wasted for the season.

Anyway, we have Devaney as back up then.
