Presenter on RS tonight said he believes 'if a deal can't be sorted with Nigel Clough then the club will resort to Plan B!'

I can't believe they'll entrust a rapper/actor/singer/songwriter with trying to keep them up?!?

Still more realistic than Sven, Pulis, O'Neill etc I suppose. Can't get my head around it

Most of them that call in to FH don't even want Clough, he's not a big enough name for them.

One or two have even named Di Matteo as the man for the job.

Butcher won't leave Cally for Blades
Steve Evans is in a better position with Rotherham
Sven will demand too much money
O'Neill is no fool and will realise Blades are a basket-case
Pullis will wait for a bigger job
    Warnock is a short-term possibility
Walsall manager I simply don't know him, but maybe he would take the chance?

Bottom line is, dem Blades think they can attract top names, but the longer they continue to make the club look a laughing stock, the harder it becomes to get them in.

    Anyway.......**** em.

I reckon so. No Compo to pay. Obviously an affiliation.

But RS did mention that the owners have already stated no more investment this season. And the Weir way and the players he brought in are all supposed to be creating a new footballing ethic. Hardly Blackwells way. I'd piss misen if he turned them down!!!

I have a feeling they will go for either Slade at Orient or Robinson at Mk Dons.

To be fair, when Flitcroft is finally hounded out, there'll be more than enough "experts" on here calling for O'Neill, Di Matteo, etc.

Bagsie first shout for Alan Curbishley...;)
