So the same police force can manage upward of 5,000 ...

.... of them at Oakwell, but can't handle 3,000+ of us at Bumhole Lane?

It's a load of ****** mate, we got the upper and lower tier last season, and they won't fill the rest of the ground on a Tuesday night, even though they are a MASSIVE club going for automatic promotion, according to Blackwell on Sunday

That was before the Hume incident now. I reckon it's going to be a while before we get 5k tickets there again, as there's now more of an incentive to cause violence. Look at it this way though. At least the 3k there should just about all be the most worthy fans as they will have a season ticket booklet and stubs.

We only had 3000 last season & didn't even sell them out!

We did to start with and then were later given the upper tier when the deedahs realised they couldn't sell out.

Incidentally we were the only team to be given the upper tier at bumhole lane last season.

Wasn't there a thread on here for fans not to go to Bumhole Lane and line the pockets of organised thuggery?

It's not exactly going to help our players if we boycott the game is it?

    We're here again

We treat away supporters very well at Oakwell, give them the newest stand to sit in, as many as they want, signs to ground from M1 etc, large protective police presence (as it should be imho)

We go anywhere and it's every man for himself, scramble for tickets, coppers who trained at the Reichstag, dead reight.

That's true mate, treat like **** everywhere we go .......

......... by stewards and police (Wolves, Southampton, Forest, Norwich and Burnley immediately spring to mind) and then we get the same at Oakwell.

It always amazes me that there are always twice as many police and stewards at the home end (mainly between the Ponty End and the East Stand) than there is at the away end, whether it's a local derby on a Saturday afternoon or Ipswich on a Tuesday night!

Once had a steward start on me at Bramall Lane

Fat **** gave it some 'dingles' as we got off the bus, I laughed at him and questioned his diet so he grabs hold, in full view of plod the thicko - nice man from SY police took him away.

Walsall is an absolute joke, the list is endless, yet red carpet laid out at Oakwell.

That comment makes out that crowd support comes into play. Well if that's the case seems as Man Utd get the biggest crowds they should be walking the premiership. Oh wait...

Woody, I think so actually, shows the fans are right behind Iain Hume and shows the Blunts that this isn't going to go away. At the end of the day Barnsley do not financially benefit from away gates and why should we contribute to Sheffield United coffers?

So you advocate boycotting the game then? I think you will be on your own there

Most people can't wait for it

A lot of bad feelings out there.............mostly from Barnsley fans. Not so much from the Blunts tho
