Sheffield United are to lend a hand to ailing neighbours Rotherham United by paying the wages of two players currently on loan at Millmoor from Bramall Lane. The Millers are staring bankruptcy in the face, as they need to find £1 million in a matter of weeks or face being closed down. Rotherham have Blades pair Jonathan Forte and Stephen Quinn on loan and the Championship highflyers have decided to pay the wages of the duo while they are turning out for The Millers. "I spoke to our chairman, Kevin McCabe, put it to him and he was agreement," said Blades chief Neil Warnock. "He felt we should show our backing. "I hope it will set off others to give the club support, we can't let a club go to the wall."
