Is it true no tickets on sale after 2.00pm on the day of the game ??? For f&cks sake.............what about all us people who work for a living

was hoping to get home from work at six into town couple of beers and pay at the gate /poo

I don't think they could have done much else. Imagine a gang of alcohol fulled Wednesday fans trying to gain access to the Ponte as there was no space in the Wednesday part of the ground.
20 years ago maybe mate but not now with all the old bill and cameras about.......
Wednesday fans expected it to be all ticket they'll still bring 7k plus
Think that'll take a couple of thou off the gate of reds followers with a lot being at work and that......just a lot of messing about now having to get down to well and que /poo

The box office is open Saturday morning though. Maybe it would be a good idea (and I reckon this might happen) for the box office to open until 7pm Monday night - would help if it stayed open all day Saturday as well (and made the public well aware of this)! All credit to the box office, I rang last week and got through easy & sent my stubs in for the Donny game with visa details, and the morning after I got my tickets (including my stubs back). Why is it so hard for people to pick up a phone & book a ticket!? Or just pop down to oakwell in a lunch break - Saturday morning. For people to far away like me, pick up the phone!!
