Does anyone know roughly how many tickets we have sold so far and how many we've actually been allocated? TIA
box office told me... ...this afternoon when i bought mine that only 1500 tickets had been sold so far. didnt we take 5 or 6 thousand last season? wheres eveybody gone
RE: box office told me... * People were excited on just coming up. * It's a night game. * Our away form is *****. Shouldn't be a big turnout at Ipswich either.
I get the distinct impression that we wont take up the additional allocation and that it'll be a struggle to sell the initial 3,000 we've been given. which as Ive pointed out, is less than Sc-unny for our supposed big game of the season. I reiterate, dont be surprised when we have to cut our cloth in January folks. The reality is, we're not getting enough bums on seats. FACT.
So what you are saying is that people at Oakwell behind the scenes at oakwell are not doing what they should be doing?
Ill be going but not got my ticket yet. Totally forgot that they were on sale to season ticket holders.
In your angry-young-man-anti-club view point if we'd sold 15,000 tickets at a pound each they still wouldnt be doing enough. have you bought yours yet?
I would be surprised, actually Apparently the club's financial situation is constantly improving and weren't we breaking even or making a small profit this year? In that case, why would we need to sell?
There will be loads like me ...who are going but haven't got their tickets yet. I don't believe in handing over my hard earned while the last possible minute.
RE: There will be loads like me Same for me. Would have bought one sooner but you have to go to the box office with a match voucher to get one. Can't get to the ground so have to wait til general started so I can order over phone. There will be loads who haven't bought yet. I think the fact it is a night match will have an effect though. I reckon about 4000 will end up going.
