I have just come online and seen all the fuss about the reply.
My take on it is that yes davey had a better points average over the games, but not against the same sides, I think we would have got the same wins under Ritchie. Ritchie was sacked for not wanting to sign players, not quite true, he did not want to sign players that would not be an improvement on what we already had. ritchie was slagged off for wanting to sign Cadermateri, having seen him on tele at weekend I think Ritchie was right.
Now we are being told that the reason for his sacking was because his points average was not good enough over 18 games, will we sack Davey if his average is no better after 18 games?
Shepherd had the same right of reply as any other person, but I think once again he has let himself down on the PR front, slagging the fans off and saying that we are outsiders that know nothing makes him look like a spoilt kid himself. He could handle the press better than he does too, I for one a grateful for what has been achieved to bring the losses down and the financial side of the club in a healthier position, but all that could be undone if we are relegated this season.
This season was always going to be a struggle, but things have not been handled professionally by the club.We are always shooting ourselves in the foot.
Lets see what happens over the next week or so.
