would be mortified if they read this board. In 18 months they have turned round a sinking ship into a promotion winning club whilst trying to ease our financial burden. From day one the board has backed A.Ritchie indeed we've signed 4/5 new players in the last month or so but because we've missed out on two targets today the knives are out.I'm sure the club will use the loan market to good effect to ensure the club continues to go forward.Don't forget we are a Championship side thanks to the people you are slagging off today.
So why do the dynamic duo spout on about interest in players then get f'all.
If we cant/wont sign any fecker unless there's owt available for 2 tins of brokken biscuits then why spout on about it in the press??
Mek no feckin wonder there's some stick flying.
Oh and signings in the last month...
In
Letheren..not even ready for bench
Minonne? 3 month loan

I'm sure we'd all love to buy loads of players that will bring the fans in but at the end of the day I'd rather see us on a firm financial footing . The days of admin were a nightmare and if we go there again we get a nice 10 point deduction

Sheffield Wednesday... Far more injury problems than us, been here longer, worse position in the league.
Signed nobody.
Its not just us, you know?
(not aimed at you, LiverpoolRed)

RE: Sheffield Wednesday... True, the blue half of dee dah land are a lot worse off and they're supposed to be a "big club"
Aye 2 points behind with 13 players out.
What if we had that sort of luck? Do you think we would have faired so well??

Our squad at the moment: KEEPERS:
Colgan, Mannone, Letheren - No need to strengthen.
DEFENDERS:
Reid, Kay (Suspended, one game), Hassell, Tonge, Austin, Heckingbottom (should be fit for Stoke), Atkinson, Williams. LOAN MARKET AVAILABLE FOR CENTRE HALF IF NEEDED.
MIDFIELDERS
Togwell, Howard, Devaney, McIndoe, Healy, McParland, (Tonge, Williams, Hayes) LOAN MARKET AVAILABLE.
STRIKERS
Hayes, Richards, Nardiello (injured but should be back within 2-3 games), (Wright, Coulson, Jarman) - ONE STRIKER NEEDED, LOAN MARKET AVAILABLE.

Excuse me if I really really don't see that we're in a crisis situation. The loan market is there to be used, and it will be when its needed, I'm sure. Right now, we just do not need to. We have what...Kay out for one game, Austin/Hecky injured with both set to be back around the Stoke game, and Nardiello to be back in 2/3 games.
Yes, in the future during the season, we will need to use the loan market - but the fact we haven't spent money on a permanent signing doesn't really bother me.
£350,000 for Michael Bridges? No thanks. I do see your point, but I think theres a major overreaction to a fairly ineffective transfer window when loans are available.
