Knows nothing about footballers but has been offered a couple of players by Prem. sides and wonders why Andy Ritchie (the professional coach) doesn't take them. How would Shepherd feel if Ritchie went to the press and criticised him about his financial running of the club. What would have been of more interest would have been if Shepherd had said he had offered Ritchie £700,000 for players, not theat he, a supporter ffs, had offered players. Back we go to the days of boring football under a Hodge/Parkin clone, if Ritchie goes. Furthermore with the attachment of the players to Ritchie, I would expect most of those out of contract to go, and transfer requests from one or two others. Our success last season was built on teamwork from Ritchie ands Holden, through all the players. Break it, and see what happens.
Hmmmmmm......... your speculating, of which Ive been guilty in the past, on something you dont have full appreciation of. I strongly suspect that not all the players are happy at being in a losing side.
Well - as the players have aired their discontent about Ritchie then I think you could be wrong here.
