i cant believe most of the things he says I cringe whenever I hear his voice and just know that all over south yorkshire people are listening to the radio and laughing at us.
Believe it or not I invited him to my wedding... .. in 2000 never got a reply general impression was most normal people were beneath him. Use to sit near him and had to endure his opinions about players. He was one of those "fans" who thought slagging off players who were having a bad game would somehow help. I forget more about football every day than he will ever know. Thought he was a good business man though but football is not just a profit making business it is an emotional rollercoaster for the fans who deserve more.
I Did Wonder Why........ he said Davey got the job friday but it was announced to us sunday and not saturday. Probably didn't want to hear the fans voice disaproval at the appointment during the biggest match (and letdown) of the season.
