    It won't be him because it seems they want someone not cup tied. Also Davey wouldn't be dumb enough to loan out one of the few strikers we have left.

    There is no way we will sell/loan out KO. not with the current striker situation as it is.

    Barnsley striker Kayode Odejayi is in talks regarding a possible loan move to Hartlepool United.

    Odejayi has played 25 games for the Tykes this season but has scored just once, making him unpopular with sections of the Barnsley support.

    He has scored 4 goals in 62 games for Barnsley since his £200,000 move from Cheltenham 18 months ago.

    Hartlepool caretaker manager Chris Turner said that he hopes to complete the signing of a new player in the next day or two ''There might be something happening in the next 24 to 48 hours.''

    While not mentioning the player specifically, Turner hinted that it was Odejayi ''It's a player in the Championship who we have been pursuing for a couple of weeks.'' he told the Mail
