Right or wrong? Should the police have used that policy against the IRA and during the miners strike?(RIP)
Bit daft that isn't it ?? Miners strike bit i mean,,,, not even constructive, and a bit of forethought with the Irish side of your argument would have helped. The Irish never did it face to face, they never blew themselves up they planted the bomb and legged it,,,,so by the time the police arrived there was no one to bloody shoot man.
Very very wrong. innocent people have died in the past where that policy was implimented, there are strict rules of engagement that the police will abide to. However those same rules can hinder the firer if he/she isnt 100% sure of when to open fire causeing injrury or death to himself or a colleague.(blagger)
I thought it was a very well thought out thread The miners were terrorists during the strike. IRA are and were terrorists. Yep, i reckon a shoot first then ask approach should have been used. I also bet Bright Red also agrees with me 100%.

He was a miner in notts (yes i know) but the point i am making is that, you are calling him a terrorist, he did strike, he did not kill 54 innocent people using explosives, alos injuring hundreds, So if that was a well thought out thread then i think you need to get your fúc.kin head tested.

actually, most of our cops tend to use tasers or pepper spray especially if they are standing on the person. they save the shooting for suspects farther away or those shooting at them.
