The shooting incident facts are getting worse. It seems the Brazilian man used to live in a slum district in Sao Paulo, where gun murders are worse than anywhere in the world. Is it any wonder he ran from plain clothes men who were wielding guns? At no stage, have any witnesses said that the plain clothes officers used the word POLICE...and even if they did...would this guy have understood or believed them?
I preferred it when this board was all about paedophilia. Oops - I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it.
yes but... he was on the london underground not sao paulo slums! The police should not have shot him inmo but he should have not run away either.
he should have learnt english like all immagrants should are we now to blame our brave security police for him not stopping behave they were protecting us ie british subjects people like me & you
Just remember that the next time the cops decide to stop you for something. Just stand there and let them beat the **** out of you. That'll be just fine. Or would you rather it was your brother or some other family member the cops go after?
i have been involved with the police in my life not proud of it but i have never had the **** as you put it kicked out of me if as i found your fair with them vice versa if he had stopped he would have been ok too many witnesses and what choice did they have
So you've taken one understandable shooting to mean that police always 'beat the ****' out of people? I think that's extremely unfair on our police force. In fact I wish they were able to use more force with some folk who seriously take the p!ss as they know that the police can't do anything.
the police dont just beat the **** out of people yankee in the middle of a busy london street armed police dont beat the **** out of people in broad daylight with hundreds of witnesses. what they do show their badge and shout STOP POLICE and then think VERY quickly when the man they have stopped turns and runs into a packed tube station, clearly jumps a turnstyle, runs down onto a lower platform and onto the first packed train he sees. The same tube network that has had 6 bombs in two weeks. what should they do? stop and let him off then wait for the bang? or say **** him, he can do what he wants because he might not understand english? I'm sorry but how fecking hard is it to understand the words stop police? if they cant understand the basic words or obide by the basic laws of the country then they should **** off we dont want that sort of people here ruining our great country.
Well said... And I fail to believe that the police didn't shout that they were police as Roundsman is suggesting, that sounds like serious ballax to me.
RE: Well said... all the witnesses seemed to know that they were police. "plain clothed officers" "undercover police with guns" are the general quotes coming from witnesses. yet supposedly this man thought they were gangland killers from brazil and obviously he cant read english, doesnt own a tv/radio and hasnt been on the streets of london for a few weeks so he didnt know about the security risks at tube stations or how plain stupid he was being in running into one, jumping a barrier and heading for a packed train.
RE: Well said... Precisely. As I've said before, it is a shame that the lad got shot, indeed a tragedy, but my point is that given what happened it is an understandable one.
its alright but people like that give the decent foreigners a bad name I was watching a program the other day showing the oldest mosque in england and it has little kids who have to learn the muslim (peaceful) way every day for so many hours. i thought, fine, at least theyre learning peaceful muslim ways but then it suddenly hit me. ALL of these young children were speaking in arabic (or some other language) and all the writing on the blackboards were in foreign too. how the hell is that helping create a mulitcultural society when the kids dont speak english and are being encouraged NOT to fit in by their parents? New rules needed im afraid. Foreigners is welcome provided they take a citizenship test and oath which includes proving they know our laws and language. Then there is no excuse that they didnt understand the word police (despite having worked here for three years as an electrician)
You appear very sure of the facts of the case Were you there? Has everything you said been verified. I certainloy haven't heard or read anything of the sort. I've heard a nuber of conflicting eye witness accounts. And you appear to be making a big thing of the fact that he junmped on to the first train he saw. He was going to a tube station, where did you expect him to go? And "stop and let him off then wait for the bang". He was carrying a bomb then was he? Which basic laws did he break? How was he ruining our country? By getting shot?
RE: its alright but people like that give the decent foreigners a bad name Yeah they don't fit into society usually, they have their own ghetto areas where most of them refuse to acknowledge white people and as you say don't speak English. I'm speaking from experience here by the way.
What on earth are you two on about? Why have you assumed he can't speak English. What is this terrible thing that he has done to give foreign nationals such a bad name?
