We couldn't get 2 seats together in the East Stand last night, so bought tickets for the West Lower. I nearly had a heart attack when I got an error message after paying, saying "WE'RE SORRY! There has been an unexpected error. Please contact customer services if you have tried to book tickets and have received this error, as you may have already been charged. DO NOT TRY TO REBOOK." There was zero chance of getting through to anyone at that time of night or at all over the Easter weekend. Luckily it must have gone through, as I got the Print at Home email with the tickets attached.

If only L5 to L8 and WEST UA and West UB were red because they were sold out. There should really be a different colour to differentiate between sold out blocks and unavailable ones.

Red means unavailable, mate. As in, sold out or unable to purchase. Same difference. But I get what you're saying and all being well it won't be an issue next season.

It's not the same difference. He's making a good suggestion that their should be a colour for unavailable instead of red for sold out being used for an area that's not sold out.

Aye, because it's such a huge issue isn't it?

It's not a huge issue for the club, but it can be for fans. For instance, when people logged on to pick their Wembley tickets, many were under the impression that certain blocks they preferred had already gone, when they hadn't actually been released yet. It's daft colour coding something and then making one colour mean two different things. It's obvious from box office replies on Twitter, that the club don't consider views important (a seat is a seat in their opinion), so I don't expect they will lobby Ticketmaster to change it.

Said it very well. Doesn't matter as much for Oakwell games (although still important) but Wembley ended up not being as good with tickets as it could have been if two colours had been used. Then people wouldn't have bought thinking where they wanted to sit was already sold out when infact they hadn't gone on sale there yet.

It's the system run by the ticketing folk. Not sure we can alter it, but will ask. Can't do more than that.

Busy now, so apologise if I can't reply any further. Enjoy your holiday Monday.
