Apparently the free coaches for 500 people sold out last week and I would expect around 2,500 from Preston. We should have 13,000 on saturday in the ground.

How can free coaches sell out? Surely they ran out of free seats!

Why did Barnsley Fc feel it inappropriate to lay on free coaches for the vital clash against Southend last season?
I forked out to go and would have done anyway and would not have missed it for the world, regardless.
i do believe the Club was approached re free coach travel for this Southend game
It was refused and if I remember correctly, a reason was given for the refusal, but i can't remember why,
I am sure that Owen can elaborate.
This policy is certainly a way of getting more fans to support the team at away games although we do have a good away following for a club such as ours with an average attendence of 11,000 plus
