...... or at least heavily discounted. It's a massive game for us in the context of this season and where we will be next season, and match tickets are only a tenner and a quid for kids. We could have had a few thousand there, but instead the 'Reds on the Road' charge £23, yes a massive £23 and milk the fact that the match tickets are cheap. I have no vested interest in this, as I would still be travelling with the Rising Sun, but £23 is daylight robbery for a match at Watford - £15 with the Rising Sun, somebody is making a few quid from 'Reds on the Road', I can tell you that much
'Somebody is making a few quid from 'Reds on the Road', I can tell you that much.'</p> I should hope they are, they are a business not a charity. However I agreethey should do one off offers, in line with other clubs, to maximise support for vital games and reward fans for their loyalty.</p>
Official Coach Prices Are A Nightmare There were two or three quid difference between official and unofficial coaches last night and it was only a local derby.
Roughly £700 for a coach to Watford .... ...... 50 seats x £23 = £1150 ........ nice profit, at the fans expense, during the recession
Should they be making a profit from the coaches though? Or should they be run at cost which would mean more fans going down which in turn would mean increased revenue from gate receipts and more support in the stands?
