after all he was the one and only who totally believed in Dagnall , and he took a lot of stick for his beliefs. Dyson.. I do not remember giving you grieg about Daggers, but I am sure you would have it on file if I did. So if I ever did .... I openly here and now eat humble pie. No matter what tonight's result is , that lad has really blossomed. we just must not lose tonight. A win would be wonderful...but just do not lose tonight is all I ask.

 

Scoring goals as a striker is either hero or zero. Daggers had some chances, but due to a lack of confidence didnt slot them away or as I remember had a couple well saved. Then he gets a penalty, bravely takes it and scores and hasn't looked back since. All of a sudden that hard work he puts in is a big part of his game, not just the only thing to comment on.

It's a funny old game.
