Should penalties count in leading goal scoring tables?

Always strikes me as unfair, this. Not just because Richards is the only player in the Championship to have scored 3 goals in open play but penalty takers have a huge and unfair advantage in this regard. Rasiak, by comparison, has only scored 1 in open play.

What about own goals though. say if richards scored an own 'goal' it should be added to his tally cos its still a goal.

    Ill shut up now lol:pff
