in both the East upper and the East Lower we need more noise around the ground Having just one stand making noise (and only half of the stand at most times) is pathetic TBH Also away fans should be seated in the West stand.
well there were 11,000 barnsley fans yesterday.. and we made some fantastic noise. So if we get 2,000 more barnsley fans we could make that noise again! i know its hard to get those fans and also it was a derby we're doomed
I think we should rip the seats out in the bottom right section of the ponty and have standing area then I can't get told to sit down every 2 minutes by grumpy old men behind me. Haven't a clue why they sit in Ponty, if they want to sit there and be quiet, sit in east or west, if you want to sing, sit in ponty.
11000? More like 12000, but that is still poor! East and Ponty should have been a complete sell out even with the ticket farse latley! Would have been nice to have a few more in the West as well!
Something to sing about. Are you real ? South Yorkshire Derby Isn't that enough ? we should be singing regardless of the score line even if it is 0-0
Evidently the derby alone wasn't motivation enough.
Hence, we are needing a bit more entertainment on the pitch.

Perhaps some people go to watch the football. I'd rather watch the game than stand and sing songs that are either unrelated to Barnsley (ie. Wednesday's going down, We all hate Leeds scum) or dull/boring (You are my Barnsley, etc) or both (if you hate Sheffield Wednesday clap your hands). Does that make me less of a fan?
I think its a belting idea. Can't beat a good old sing song. As much as I hate L***s you have to give it them, they create a brilliant atmosphere at Bellend Road. Ponty End should be for fans who want to sing, West and East for the fans who would just rather watch the game, everyones a winner and there would be a great atmosphere down at 'Well every Saturday !
the atmostphere against chelsea will be much better for a couple of reasons...... 1. tea time kick off, with everyone having a gallon of ale on board. 2 live on bbc tv....we have got an impression to give, regardless of the score, lets make oakwell an electric atmostphere.
