should tonights game be free to get in for season ticket holders?

    Maybe not free mate imo, but a fiver all round would surely be sufficient?

    I believe the reason is this....

    the gate receipts from friendlies are shared between the two clubs once costs are deducted.

    If we let our season ticket holders in for nowt, then we'd be robbing the away club of their share of it. We could make the assumption that each of our season ticket holders had paid in cash, and therefore pay over to the away club what would have been due had they paid - but then that costs the club a load of money - imagine if we had to pay £3 for each season ticket holder and 5000 turned up - that's £15k out of our share of the cash paying spectators going to the away club which would probably leave us with next to nothing.

    Advert in Barnsley Chronicle says 7.45pm and BFC website says 7.30pm.
