Absolutely. We can't just have people creating new threads willy-nilly whenever the fancy takes them - it'd be chaos.
I'm just in London, in a restaurant called The Flat Iron in Waterloo, going to see FOR JUST ONE DAY, at the Old Vic, it's about the Live Aid Concert at Wembley in 1985, so there should be some cracking tunes in this show.
Maybe we should all follow your lead and only make threads for things that already have an active discussion going in another thread
Some great albums out this year. Bill Ryder Jones and Gruff Rhys are vying for the top 2 in my affections. Like Last Dinner Party in a catchy wet leg sorta way.
I see what you did there, but also This World of Water, surely? In fact, the From A To Be album of theirs is very good.
The BRJ one is very good. His best, I reckon. I’m favouring Masta Ace & Marco Polo’s Richmond Hill so far this year.
I agree with you about the album. Totally different to what I'd expected it to be, but I'm finding that I'm going back to it frequently as the car music choice at the moment. Managed to get tickets to see them in Manchester in September, as the Leeds gig had already sold out. Missed them playing the Brudenell last weekend, although getting tickets for it would have been a challenge anyway.
I’m with you on that, Old Goat. Off to see Eric Clapton in May, Heart in July and then…….Les Miserables arena concert in October. Can I be an old goat too, please.
