A few years back it was the 'in thing' to retake pens if the keeper came off his line early. Now it's the 'in thing' to do it without punishment.

We've now got the spray line so players don't encroach on the 10 yards. But goalies are nearly on the 6 yarder before the pens kicked.

    Thoughts??!?!?!?!!?!

Would it be a retake if the player missed the target but the keeper moved ?

I think they used to when 'encroachment' was the flavour of the week. Another one that's gone by the way side.

Watching some of our penalty's last season, it's the other players that have overtaken the taker which annoys me.

It's one of those offences that refs seem to ignore, like foul throws, the 6 second rule for keepers and shirt pulling at corners.

I think that Refs have enough rules, but they just do not apply them. Shirt pulling and man handling in the box rely annoys me, and I do not agree with the mans game argument. It is simple cheating.
