<font size="2">Mick Wadsworth has resigned as Shrewsbury Town assistant boss because he wants to pursue his own career as a coach or manager. </font> <font size="2">He joined the Shrews in January 2005 to become number two to Gary Peters.</font></p> <font size="2">"I don't think I've worked at a nicer club, I only see good fortune ahead for Shrewsbury," he told the club website.</font></p> <font size="2">Wadsworth has previously been boss at Carlisle,Scarborough, Colchester, Oldham and Huddersfield, and the number two atSouthampton and Newcastle.</font></p> <font size="2">He also had a spell in charge of Portuguese side Beira-Mar and has also coached Congo. </font></p>
