    Not sure the recruitment team will be looking on for instruction. Or maybe they will, who knows?

    I think we may see a couple in this week. For clarification, I am absolutely not “in the know”, just more of a gut feeling.

    I'm not ITK either, but I dare say that if we've been actively trying to recruit for several weeks and we've still only signed Conor, then we must be comfortably into the 3rd and 4th choices targets-wise.

    We've definitely been rejected several times, otherwise we would've had a few in by now surely!

    Depends how much of the budget we've used on Clarke and Hourihane. Won't be paying them out with Albert Hirst Pork Pies.

    Players will hold out as long as they can for the best possible deal. If we’d signed players by now it would have been because we offered them a ridiculous amount of money or because all their other options were in league 2 or below.

    Gassan Ahadme. Looks like he'll not have a future at Ipswich. Spent last season at Cambridge, scoring 13 in 33. Quick, strong, hard worker, good in the air, and only 23. Cambridge's season took a nosedive when he got injured, and he scored upon his return to the side at Oakwell in March. Charlton have enquired by all accounts, but if we're going to operate a high press this season, he's certainly one I'd hope is high on our list.

    This is a great shout and one we should be looking at.

    I would add Ladapo to the list as I know Clarke likes experience and he too has no future with Ipswich either.

    My number 1 target would be Adebisi from Crewe for LWB. Young, pacey and can play in a back 4 or as a wing back. Had a fantastic season in L2 last season and it is a formula that has served us well in the past getting top performers from the league below (Conor, Winnall, Scowen, Cadden etc.)

    Freddy Ljungberg, wasn't he playing in the Euros & we were about to sign him?. He had a stormer & Arsenal blew us out of the water & signed him instead.
