Really?

Fair enough, he's no holding midfielder, but then, he's not a holding midfielder and that's Daveys fault.

    He's a decent fullback mind.

It must just be that everytime I see him he's **** - which is about five games a season. And he's not a midfielder (not his fault).

Quality defender though...gotta give him that surely?

I've not seen it. Maybe at L1 but not Championship. I realise I'm in the minority here and I'm probably being thick.

    Kenny Burns!

His last game at Oakwell before he signed for us was when he got sent off playing for Derby (I think) and he got jeered off the pitch. Then we went and signed him. He was nothing but an overweight thug. Although it was funny when he came on as sub and played up front for us.

Unbelievable when you saw him play for us (albeit at the end of his career) that he was once the football writers' footballer of the year, won 20 caps, won the european cup twice and scored 19 goals one season for birmingham.

Fortunately, he joined us at a low point in our history, so not many people had to suffer the torment of watching him play!

And a special mention to Nardiello, last time around. What a stupid loan signing that was. He'd already proved that he wasn't very good in the previous spells at the club, so what on earth we were doing fetching him back again is beyond me. But mark my words, he'll be back...as soon as we get another manager! The previous four managers have all signed him.

    Too right

It beggars the belief the abuse he gets.

Cracking striker, one of the best we've had since the Premier League, if not the best.

    Dyer AND Sheron

All of the Ashley Ward transfer money given to a manager we sacked not long after he signed these jokers. On the day Dyer was signed I stood in the lunch queue at work when I heard the news we'd signed Dyer, a Palace fan heard my conversation and came and shook my hand.

Sheron was woeful, and if Dyer was as good a striker as some of our fans think, why do nobody EVER come sniffing round him to buy him.

He might have been the best player in a shocking team, but he was pretty much the most expensive, and almost certainly the best paid and he featured week in week out in a team that came close to back to back relegations. Palace fans still laugh at the fact we singed Dyer.

True both players showed glimpses of brilliance on occasions, but those were rare glimpses that were too few for the money they cost us

    RE: Dyer AND Sheron

I think Dyer & Sheron played well together in 1 game & that was Sherons debut against a poor Bristol Rovers team in the FA Cup
