Had a discussion last night at work - nowt else to do!

Anyway, one of the blokes seems to think that Yorkshire Puddings used to be eaten as a pudding - after the main course of a meal.

I've seen them used as a starter, accompany the main course, or as a meal on their own (filled with stuff) but never as a pudding.

Anyone else heard of them used as a sweet?

    We've done that as well

Though I prefer them as a starter with gravy

If you think about it yorkshire pud mixture isnt much different to a pancake mixture so there isnt really any reason why you couldnt use them as a pudding

Used to have 'em as both starter and pudding.

Warm starter with gravy and cold pudding with jam. Sometimes had them with just sugar on for a pudding.
