Working at 7pm in L**ds last night so didn't go to game.

Anyway I'm sat listening to Player and the second goal goes in for Chesterfield. Immediately I look at the Betfair app on my phone to see what the cash out value is now on a four fold I've got us in. Betfair is showing the scoreline as 1-1. I check Livescore.com. Also 1-1.

Matt and Adam are laying into us on Player so I'm certain it's 2-0.

Betfair re-open live betting on the match after the goal and Chesterfield are now at 15/8. So I quickly lump £80 on. Heart pounding.
Minute later it's still 1-1 according to Betfair with Chesterfield now at 19/10. So I whack on another £100.
Another minute later just as I'm about to empty my entire savings into my Betfair account the betting is suspended and the scoreline is corrected.

And so begins about half an hour of nail-biting and feeling both as dirty as a L**ds centre-half's jock strap for willing my team not to win and lucky as heck to have spotted that mistake....

...I hung on for a few minutes after we scored but cashed out for a total profit of £261.89 with minutes to go and subsequently began willing us on to knock in an equaliser again. How that would have made my day complete if we had.

Addendum: Out of interest I also checked Skybet's live odds and they also had suspended betting for quite a while at the same time the mistake was corrected at Betfair. Presumably they'd made the same error. Wonder if anyone else profited.

The Fotmob app also had us down 1-1 for a short time. I was in a theatre in Leeds and kept sneeking a look at the app for score updates. Totally gutted when they updated it to 2-0. Pleased for ya windfall though pal.

I posted on here yesterday that Futbol24 had the score at 11. I was working and had just come on here to see about the equaliser and people were saying it was 20. Never thought to check Betfair, but you were lucky it wasn't voided (had that happen before).

It was 1-1 on Final Score as well for a little while - didn't see what came up on the videprinter though.

The vidiprinter is where everyone gets their scores from, was showing 1-1 for at least 15 minutes. It went tits up yesterday all afternoon.

How much would you have won if you didn't cash out ?

I don't trust any online live score apps or sites. Once saw a European match with good odds. One team winning 2-0 with about 5 mins to go. Lumped on £100 as odds were evens or better. Thought the bookies must have fooked up.

Turned out the kick off had been delayed 30 mins and the final score ended up 2-2.

Whilst in the car I had Hallam FM on and they said Barnsley had got one back and it was now 1-1.

Gutted when checked BBC 5 mins later to see who had scored for us and instead of 1 - 1 it was 2 - 0.

    profit of £337.50.

Actual cash out profit I got was £276.42. Just checked again. So if I'd had the balls to hang on I could have took another £60. I genuinely believed we'd equalise though. More faith than brains.
