Not going to enter a debate about this, but, Gordon Shepherd is killing a proud club, I will be one more boycotting Oakwell until changes at boardroom level are made, as for Simon Davey, poor fecker thrown in at the deep end now looks a proper embarrassed individual. Just thought I'd vent my opinion.
Well YOU wanted Ritchie Out You said that he wouldnt sign anyone, Do you think the players we have got in have been any better than the ones we already had ??? We cant afford any better players and if we can pay the fee , we cant pay their wages. (N) (N) (N)
Not surprised Ritchie refused to buy players if the bounty he had to tempt them with can't attract lower league players here. Maybe, just maybe Ritchie was doing the best he could in the circumstances. Say what you will about Ritchie but the football and passion from the players was a damn sight better than it is now.
I stand by my wanting Ritchie out, he was bloody woeful, but to replace him with the cheapo option is killing the club, perhaps a cunning ruse by a very rich benefactor and a housing developer, and before anyone says "they can't do that", well nothing would surprise me with this club and board.
