Negativity v Honesty = fine line.

I'm as overjoyed as anyone at getting three points and going fourth but it doesn't stop me also making an honest assessment of the game. I think you're the one who's posted the word negativity most tonight.

Fortunately Davey's interview showed he knows there's room for improvement.

    What's Impressed Me Most

    his is planning.

To sign players from places as far apart as Belgium, Norway and Peru show's he has a lot of scouting contacts. Obviously as an Academy manager he's kept in with these contacts, obviously planning on becoming a manger at some point.

Also, looks as if people he's worked with/under have kept in touch and must like him, and he's now making the most of these past relationships - Moyes loaned De Silva, Davies loaned Nyatanga and Macken.

I didn't think he was the right man for the job when he was appointed last season - especially with the style of play. However, it seems that he knew what was needed and got the players to do that, then utilised his contacts to sign better players.

    Hope he keeps it up!
