He's doing his best for us! You cannot argue with 47 points and 3 games to go. I think you suggested 44 points max a few weeks ago?
Chill yo' ass. If you'd have said back in August that our survival chances would be in our own hands with 3 games to go i'd have taken that.
Davey seems to have learnt a bit whilst he's been in charge. imho we should've been safe by now looking at who we've played recently ( on paper), still, stopping up is all that matters, and if he does it, he deserves credit and a good go at it next year. hope he's allowed to manage his way with his players.

Not sure about safe by now based on who weve played Last 3 homes games have been against the top 3. But anyway
Yeah... and if we had shown the same spirit and guts against Derby and Sunderland as we did against Brum then we might well have been safe
As`well as the Colchester and Norwich games..and the Ipswich game.
I agree though Dirk, had we not been so ***** in that period, and so intent on trying to not concede, could all be breathing much easier right now

RE: Not sure about safe by now based on who weve played Cov away, Ipswich away, QPR away, Colchester, Norwich Wednesday at home. 6 games where we didn't turn up.
Pretty frustrating considering the Brum/Sarfend games Least we haven't left it too late to start winning
RE: Pretty frustrating considering the Brum/Sarfend games Comes down to a combo of tactics and attitude imho. Not just manager's fault, players are responsible for their own performances, but lone strikers at home and when we're losing and you get what you deserve.
As you say, the display against Brum, if replicated more often who knows ?

Swings and roundabouts Poor tactics inspires poor performances/attitudes from the players, due to thinking the manager has got it wrong (maybe).
He starts playing them how they wanna play... 4-4-2, voila...we start doing well (better).
But yeah, those games you mentioned, players and management alike have to take responsibility, but it sounds like some of the supposed unrest in the dressing room (Kay anyone?) has gone especially now Kay's said he wants to stay, the lads sounds positive in the interviews, and seem to be showing it on the pictch again finally.

4-4-2 indeed? I think we have more learned people on here who would disagree that we are playing 4-4-2 at the moment.
