    Simon Davey
Taking over as caretaker manager of Barnsley in 2006, Davey landed a permanent deal and had Tykes fans dreaming of a first Wembley final since 1912 after masterminding the wins over Liverpool and Chelsea. He left Oakwell in 2010, before an unsuccessful spell at Darlington and being sacked from Hereford after he left the club bottom of League Two. He has since left English management and is currently residing in the United States.

yep he is director of soccer development in a local soccer association in Georgia, somewhere south of Atlanta. The association he is with are partners with Chelsea fc.

Hardly living it up really. But i guess im living it up too.

Simon made one huge mistake in his career and that was crapping on Darlington the way he did.If he hadnt done that he would be a manager/coach still somewhere in the UK.

Wednesday fans signing '3 nil, in your own back yard / cup final' ...just horrendous.

Always a name that makes me shudder. Few have convinced me that they simply had no idea whatsoever.

No, but we played the 'Cup Final' at Palace. We played the 'Cup Final Replay' at Bumhole.
